🌈 Family Yoga: Explore (Reception-Year 6)
Sunday Afternoon | Once a Month
Fun • Curiosity • Emotional Awareness
Sunday afternoons offer a beautiful pause — a moment for families to reconnect before the rhythm of the week begins again.
Instead of ending the weekend in preparation mode, you close it with laughter, movement and shared understanding.
Explore invites families with children from Reception to Year 6 to move, imagine, breathe and bond together.
Each session includes adaptations to the age of the children in class and may include:
Animal-inspired poses
Partner and group work
Storytelling and imagination
Gentle breathing practices
Feeling-based exploration
Children are given space to learn about their bodies and emotions in a joyful, non-pressured way — alongside the reassurance of a parent or caregiver.
Why Sunday Afternoon?
Sunday carries a naturally reflective energy.
This timing allows families to:
Reconnect before the week begins
Create a calm transition into Monday
Refresh simple emotional regulation tools
Strengthen family bonds through shared experience
It becomes a monthly ritual of grounding and togetherness.
How This Supports Children
Children today are navigating a fast-moving and highly stimulating world.
Explore gently nurtures:
Emotional literacy
Confidence through body-led movement
Self-awareness and self-regulation
Secure parent-child connection
A healthy relationship with feelings
Rather than pushing performance or perfection, we encourage curiosity, kindness and inner listening.
Why Anjli Yoga Is Different
This is not performance-based yoga. There are no perfect poses.
At Anjli Yoga, movement is a vehicle for developing awareness, compassion and confidence from a young age.
Children are not asked to achieve — they are invited to explore.
And in that exploration, they begin to understand themselves more deeply.
No previous yoga experience is required.
